No Parasites!, an Independence Day show

No Parasites! a collection of quick lit with teeth, that leans to the left when most are marching the other way. Illustrated e-book. Word count: 11,355 words. 89 pages, 24 images by 24 artists; pdf file format for iPad, Kindle Fire, Nook Color, laptops and desktops.

Blurb: Chomsky appreciators and Occupy progressives will devour these biting meditations on war, murder, AIDS, 9/11, the patriarchy, etc. No Parasites! is a collection of political poems and dystopic short stories that are by turns angry, sad and stunned.

Conservatives will probably want to steer clear. And yet, despite themselves, they will empathize with those same bitter feelings, the ones squeezed out when a seemingly insane majority steamrolls over you and everything you believe in! As comedian Jon Stewart once said:  “That’s how democracy works. Being in the minority party is SUPPOSED to taste like a shit taco.”

  1. We have located the edge of the world, and it is here in Russil Tamsen’s volume, “No Parasites”! You will not go away unmoved, unshaken, or unchanged! His poetic passion leaks from the bottom edge of every single page, dripping like the frightening blood of change. Each image startles as it reveals some new view of truth. Here is a literary last stand: he has circled his words like wagons, protecting the women and children…but only just! Take a look at this volume and you will understand what the future may be, and what the present already is.
